Welcome to the website for Emerson Hospital, a private, non-profit, acute care medical center founded in 1911. We will soon be celebrating our centennial! By providing advanced, high-quality care in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion, Emerson has grown to become a regional health system serving over 300,000 individuals in 25 towns.
Headquartered in Concord, Massachusetts, 20 miles west of Boston, the hospital provides a full range of health care services including emergency medicine, critical care services, medical/surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, transitional care and home/hospice care. In addition, we are privileged to offer the region’s most sophisticated diagnostic imaging services using today’s advanced technologies such as digital mammography and PET-CT scanning.
Emerson Hospital offers the best of both worlds—extensive, high-quality services from experienced, board-certified physicians as well as strong ties to Boston when even more advanced care is needed. The Bethke Cancer Center is just one example, where physicians from the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Radiation Oncology work in collaboration with Emerson surgeons and cancer specialists.
Emerson offers services at our Main Campus in Concord and at health centers in Westford, Groton and Sudbury. We also offer services at the Center for Specialty Care on Baker Avenue in Concord, the Center for Sports Rehabilitation in Concord and Westford and the Breast Health Center in Concord and Westford.
