Primary care physician Dr. Nagy Mikael now seeing patients in Concord
(CONCORD, Mass., June 23, 2008)--Nagy Mikael, MD, MPH, FACP, a primary care physician at Emerson Hospital, moved his practice from Lexington and is now seeing patients in suite 610 of the John Cuming Building, located at the hospital.
“We give our patients the time and attention required for personalized care that emphasizes preventive medicine,” says Dr. Mikael. “We stress the importance of health maintenance through good habits and an active lifestyle.”
Board-certified in internal medicine, he completed residencies in internal medicine at Faulkner Hospital/Tufts University and in preventive medicine from Carney Hospital/Boston University. His research fellowship at Lahey Clinic was in immunogenetics/laboratory medicine. He was a research fellow in immunogenetics at both Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the hospitals of Harvard University Medical School.
Dr. Mikael has lived in the Boston area for the past 23 years. He has held positions on the medical staffs of Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s/Faulkner Hospital, Boston Medical Center, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Mikael has a degree in public health from Boston University School of Public Health.
Dr. Mikael has been a clinical assistant professor in medicine at Boston University Medical School and a clinical instructor in medicine at Harvard University Medical School and was selected as one of "America's Top Physicians" for 2004-2005 by the Consumer's Research Council of America.
