3rd Concussion Diagnosis and Management Conference — Providing Care Across the Continuum

A conference for professionals providing care to patients who suffer concussions

Presented by Emerson Hospital’s Dr. Robert C. Cantu Concussion Center and Clough Family Center for Rehabilitative and Sports Therapies, in joint providership with the Massachusetts Medical Society, the Concussion Diagnosis and Management Conference will highlight current concepts and guidelines in the diagnosis, medical management, and rehabilitation of acute concussion and post-concussion syndrome in adults and children.

Professionals from a broad range of disciplines will present and discuss best practices in the clinical assessment, diagnosis, and the medical, rehabilitative and emotional management of concussion. Through lectures, panel discussions and interactive workshops, you will gain practical clinical information that can be translated to practice.

Who Should Attend

This seminar is for anyone involved in the assessment, diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of patients with acute and sub-acute concussions (post-concussion syndrome) including neurologists, neurosurgeons, nurses, pediatricians, psychologists, emergency physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, primary care physicians, athletic trainers and coaches.

Cancellation Policy by Registrant

Refunds, less an administrative fee of $75, will be issued for all cancellations received two weeks prior to the start of the course. Refund requests must be received by postal mail or email. No refund will be issued should cancellation occur less than two weeks prior to the conference. “No shows” are subject to the full course fee and no refunds will be issued. Registrants who wish to cancel their registration should send a notice of cancellation via email to cantuconcussionconference@gmail.com

Complaints will be handled within five business days and all complaints shall be submitted and responded via email by conference chair or designee.
