How We Support You
At the Emerson Center for Weight Loss, support for our weight loss patients begins with our incredible team of surgeons, physician assistants, nurses, program managers, dietitians, behavioral health experts and office staff. You can count on a dedication and devotion to your health that is second to none.
A personalized, comprehensive program
We create a personalized support program that addresses your physical, nutritional and emotional needs. Each member of our team is committed to your success and you’ll receive the same high level of care before, during and after your surgery. Plus, you will have access to:
- Monthly support groups – This open forum provides important information and support both before and after surgery. Groups are not mandatory, but many patients find them very helpful. Call 978-287-3532 to confirm meeting locations and discussion topics.
- Psychological evaluation and counseling – Receive a comprehensive evaluation and individual treatment sessions to help you make informed decisions regarding surgery and prepare for the lifestyle changes you’ll be making.
- Dietitian and Physician Assistant meetings/evaluations – Learn what you can expect during each phase of the process and get help planning your diet from experienced professionals.
- Follow-up care and support – Our program is designed to provide the ongoing, one-on-one care you need throughout your journey.
