Urogynecology – The pelvic floor can be damaged by childbirth, repeated heavy lifting, chronic disease or surgery. Emerson Hospital’s urogynecologists treat women with variety of pelvic floor dysfunctions. They offer comprehensive diagnostic testing and treatment for urinary incontinence, urinary urgency, frequent bladder pain and problems of vaginal and uterine support.
Gynecologic Oncology – Emerson’s gynecologic oncology specialists care for patients with gynecologic cancer or those who have a high risk.
Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility Services – Emerson Hospital has affiliations with both Boston IVF and the Reproductive Science Center to offer state-of-the-art fertility care convenient to where patients live or work. Together, we are part of a network of specialists on the cutting edge of infertility treatment.

Endovenous Laser Treatment
Endovenous laser ablation therapy, or EVLT, is a relatively new, minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins. The 40-minute outpatient procedure requires no hospital stay, causes minimal discomfort and involves minimal recovery time, but provides years of relief. EVLT is a proven, effective treatment for symptomatic varicose veins, and most insurance plans cover the treatment. If you think you are a candidate for EVLT, you should talk to your primary care physician.
Plastic surgery at Emerson Hospital includes a full range of procedures to improve physical function or appearance or to minimize the disfigurement that can result from accidents, illness or birth defects. Emerson’s plastic surgeons use proven methods and the latest techniques, tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
