Black & White Masquerade Ball
Our sincere thanks to everyone who supported Emerson Hospital’s Black and White Masquerade Ball. Over 400 guests joined us at The Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel on Saturday, October 29, 2016. The evening included dinner, music by the Marsels, dancing, as well as a silent auction. It was truly a pleasure to see so many coming together to further cancer care at Emerson Hospital, and we are pleased to announce that we netted close to $300,000!

Supporting Cancer Care at Emerson Hospital
For nearly twenty years, we have been proud to bring world-class cancer care to our community in collaboration with Mass General Hospital. Today, we are embarking on enhancing the patient experience. Over the next year, we will be building new and expanded infusion and patient exam space at Emerson Hospital. By focusing on a greater level of patient comfort and privacy and treatment, the new state of the art infusion center will include:
Eighteen patient bays that balance the need for both privacy and social support,
Enhanced patient comfort and safety with state of the art infusion chairs,
Three Nurses Stations to facilitate greater efficiency and patient safety,
Redesign of patient care areas providing an improved patient experience,
And a Patient and Family Lounge with nourishment center and comfort items.
