Getting Started
Attend an information session:
Your first step will be to attend a one-hour free information session hosted by the program’s surgeons, who will provide an overview of the program and describe weight loss surgery options. This is an opportunity for you to receive answers to your questions. You will also receive written literature about weight loss surgery as well as several forms for you to fill out prior to your initial consultation.
Information sessions are generally held the second Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm at Emerson Hospital. Please call the Surgical Weight Loss Program to register: (978)287-3532.
The following are the dates of the information sessions:
Septmeber 24, 2009 - Marriott Courtyard, Fitchburg, MA
October 14, 2009 - North Assembly Room A & B
November 11, 2009 - North Assembly Room A & B
December 9, 2009 - North Assembly Room A & B
Please remember to bring your parking ticket to the session for validation.
