With all the different diets and exercise regimens out there, it is hard to know what path to take to lose weight. Finding the answer to successful weight loss starts with understanding that the strategy “move more and eat less” may not work for you.
In this seminar series, “How to Fix a Broken Metabolism,” that starts on May 12 and runs for four Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Emerson’s Health and Wellness Center, 310 Baker Avenue, Concord, participants will discover how to transform their bodies and fix their metabolism. The program is led by Julian Cardoos, one of the few body transformation experts in the Boston area.
"Julian's approach to body transformation is a culmination of mind, body, and science,” said Rich Testa, a recent program participant. “By changing the way I look at myself, food, and what is appropriate exercise, I have changed my body dramatically in a relatively short period of time. This program has truly changed transformed my life, and metabolism."
The course helps participants understand how to rebalance the body through proper nutrition, exercise, and mindset, so they can restructure their aesthetics and be happy in their bodies. It is an ideal program for people who are age 15 and older who have struggled with weight loss.
Julian has coached hundreds of clients across the country and transformed the lives of his clients. Having struggled with his weight throughout his adolescence, Julian decided to get his personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2001, after he completed culinary school. After losing 60 pounds, he decided to help others. In addition to becoming a certified personal trainer, he is also a nutritional specialist, corrective exercise specialist and holistic lifestyle coach.
