On Sunday, January 29th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the Auxiliary of Emerson Hospital is hosting From Farm to Paleo, at Woods Hill Table restaurant in Concord. The evening includes dinner and will feature two experts in farm-to-table cooking and nutrient-dense foods: Kristen Canty and Diana Rodgers. Kristin, an avid supporter of small farming, is the owner of Woods Hill Table in Concord and The Farm at Woods Hill, and also the director of the documentary Farmageddon – The Unseen War on American Family Farms. Diana is the author of two books on paleo diets and recipes, a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist, host of a blog and podcast, Sustainable Dish, and a staff writer for Paleo Magazine.
Cost for the event is $65 per person and includes a three-course dinner. Guests may choose between beet salad and soup as an appetizer. Entrée options include chicken, fish, or vegetarian. The delicious meal is complete with an apple crumble dessert and coffee. Private tours of the kitchen at Woods Hill Table are available throughout the evening.
