Heather Hasz had bariatric surgery at Emerson in 2017 and is currently in hot pursuit of a major life goal: She is training to run the 126th Boston Marathon on April 18, 2022! Heather completed her first marathon in 2019, the Shipyard Maine Coast Marathon. Since then, she has finished several road races — but not another marathon, just yet.
“I knew the only other marathon I wanted to do is Boston. I turn 50 this year and cannot think of a better way to celebrate life and good health than running Boston. This marathon journey would not be possible without the expertise and support I received at Emerson's Weight Loss Center,” explains Heather.
