When someone experiences the symptoms of a serious psychiatric illness or disorder that requires hospitalization, Emerson Hospital provides a safe therapeutic environment for evaluation and treatment.

Our inpatient behavioral health services offers a secure 31-bed inpatient Behavioral Health Unit for adults that provides comprehensive one-on-one and group therapies for patients who require 24-hour-a-day care.
Our psychiatrists also provide inpatient consultation to patients who are hospitalized on the medical units at Emerson Hospital.

It’s important to note that our behavioral health services are offered to patients, regardless of their payer (health insurance plan) or ability to pay.
