The Polo Emergency Center is always open. Located at Emerson Hospital’s main campus in Concord, our fully equipped, 22-bed department is staffed around the clock by board-certified physicians, physician assistants and nurses with specialized emergency medicine training for both pediatric and adult patients.
Emerson's Polo Emergency Center is located on the east side of the hospital off of route 2 in Concord. Once you enter the hospital driveway from the main road, stay to the left, and follow the signs to the emergency department. You will pass the White House and then the John Cuming Building on your right. The entrance to the emergency department is through the sliding glass doors to the right of the ambulance bay. Once inside, stop at the desk directly in front of you that is marked with a “triage” sign.
As you go up the small hill past the entrance to the John Cuming Building, there is parking on your right marked “Emergency Department Parking” and there is also a small lot outside of the emergency department.
