About Me
Edward J. Arous is a board-certified vascular surgeon with extensive endovascular and open surgical experience. Born and raised in Worcester, Mass., he received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and his master’s in public health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Prior to joining The Vascular Care Group, Dr. Arous was an assistant professor of vascular and endovascular surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and the director of the Limb Preservation Center. He completed his residency in vascular surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Arous has received multiple honors and awards throughout his career, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society, the Darling Award for Best Scientific Paper from the New England Society for Vascular Surgery, and the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Medical Education from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the New England Society for Vascular Surgery, the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
