Dr. Veronica Mitko is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her pediatric dentistry residency training at The Ohio State University Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She is proficient in the most advanced techniques in sedation and hospital dentistry, interceptive orthodontics, emergency care, dental trauma, and treatment of children with special needs and complex medical conditions. Dr. Mitko has practiced dentistry in private practice and hospital clinics, and conducted NIH-funded research. She is trilingual, speaking Spanish, Polish and English. As a mother, wife and pediatric dentist, Dr. Mitko considers herself a lifelong learner and views every opportunity as a potential for growth, especially her encounters with families. She has a lighthearted, gentle and enthusiastic approach to dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys meditation/yoga, running, traveling, and spending time with her husband and son.
