Throughout the COVID pandemic, Emerson Health is prepared to care for our community.

• COVID-19 testing is available by appointment at  Emerson’s Urgent Care Centers in Littleton, Hudson and Maynard. Please do not use our emergency department for routine testing for COVID-19 if you have only been exposed or have mild symptoms. Learn more about testing.
• If you are experiencing mild COVID-19 symptoms, please contact your primary care physician’s office for treatment options.

By the Numbers

There are 8 patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 and 0 patients under investigation for having COVID-19 at Emerson Hospital as of September 18, 2024. Please note that not all patients who tested positive were admitted to the hospital due to COVID-19 symptoms.

Do not delay care if you need it. Our policies ensure your health and safety when you come to Emerson Hospital, our urgent care centers, or one of our practices. 

Telehealth is Available for You!

A telehealth visit is a convenient way for you to consult with your doctor without having to go to the office. There are certain situations or conditions that require an in-office visit, however many appointments can happen over the phone or with video chat. Most Emerson doctors are available for telehealth visits for your health and well-being, which many insurance plans will cover.

COVID-19 Recovery Program

The COVID-19 Recovery Care Team at Emerson’s Clough Family Center for Rehabilitative and Sports Therapies helps patients recovering from COVID-19 understand their symptoms and work through their limitations to help them move beyond the virus. The program addresses the physical and cognitive decline that impacts strength, cardiovascular endurance, joint mobility, speech, swallowing, and cognition. Click here to learn more.
