At Emerson Hospital’s annual Compassionate Caregiver Award event held recently, Cathy Celli, RN, Resource Nurse Manager for the Clough Surgical Center, was honored for her dedication to excellence with patients and their families. Nominated by her colleagues, Cathy was chosen as the recipient of this year’s Terry Croteau Compassionate Care Award, the highest honor at Emerson for patient care.

The results are available to the public and can be used to make an informed decision as to where people choose to receive hospital care for themselves or family members.

The Massachusetts Health Policy Commission (HPC) announced the members appointed for the 2019-2020 term of the HPC Advisory Council. Christine Schuster, RN, MBA, President and CEO of Emerson Hospital and longtime Sudbury resident, has been appointed as a new member. The Advisory Council provides an opportunity for open dialogue and engagement among a diverse group of health care industry stakeholders and policymakers and, in turn, helps inform the work of the HPC.
