Ginger Dries Receives Outstanding Volunteer Award at Emerson Hospital

Thirty-five years ago, long-time Westford resident Ginger Dries, was looking for a way to help people. She was a substitute teacher in the local public schools and tutored students on the side. However, she wanted a way to give even more back to the community that she loves. She started to volunteer at Emerson Hospital in 1983. “I loved it and made great friends with other volunteers and the people I worked with at the hospital. I have not stopped since.”

As part of its focus on providing high-quality healthcare to the community, which includes creative arts to inspire wellness, Emerson Medical at Sudbury is continuing its Art Exhibit series. The latest exhibit features colorful photography by Wayne Hall, a Sudbury resident and outdoor photographer. The exhibit is on display through August, 2018 on multiple levels of Emerson’s medical office building located at 490 Boston Post Road, Route 20 in Chiswick Park, Sudbury.
